Creating a link page

What a link page is

A link page is a single, shareable page that collects the links you keep pasting into bios, email signatures, and social profiles. Every link card on it also gets a short URL, so you can share individual destinations too.

Finding link pages

Go to Content → Pages for your project and open the Link pages card. Link pages are a collection rather than a single themed page, so they get their own list rather than sitting with the other portal pages.

Creating a page

1. Click New page.
2. Give it a name, for example My links.
3. Set the slug, for example my-links. This becomes the page's address at /u/your-slug.
4. Save to open the editor.

The Page section

This is the shell of the page:

• Title — the heading at the top of the page.
• Slug — the public address. Changing it after sharing breaks existing links.
• Description — a one-liner shown under your title.
• Avatar — upload an image, paste a URL, or pick one from your asset library.
• Published — when off, the page and all of its short links return a 404.

Adding link items

The Items section is the list of link cards. Each item is one card on the page and one short URL.

When you add an item you set:

• Label — the text on the card, for example Read the changelog.
• URL — where the card sends people.
• Description — small text under the label.
• Emoji — an optional icon, picked or typed.

A short code is minted automatically for every item you add — you don't have to configure anything.

Socials

The Socials section adds an icon row of your social profiles above your links. It's a separate section from Items, so social icons don't take up card space.

Section order

A link page has three content sections and you control the order they appear in, both on the public page and in the editor preview:

• Socials — the icon row of your social profiles.
• AppGram integration — embedded widgets pulling live content from your AppGram modules.
• Items — your link cards.

Publishing

Turn on Published and save. The page is live at /u/your-slug on your project's portal, or on your custom domain if the project has one configured.

Turning Published off takes down the page and every short URL belonging to it, immediately. The same applies if you delete the page.

Deleting items and pages

Deleting an item stops its short URL resolving right away and can't be undone. Deleting a whole page does the same for its public URL and all of its short links. If a short URL has been printed or shared widely, consider pointing the item at a new destination instead of deleting it.

Permissions

Link pages require the pages:view or pages:* scope, the same as the rest of page customization.
