Search and Filter Tickets
Quickly find the tickets you need using powerful search and filtering capabilities.
Searching Tickets
Use the search bar to find tickets by:
- Customer Name - Search by submitter's name
- Email Address - Search by submitter's email
- Subject - Search by ticket title
- Description - Search within ticket content
How to Search
- Locate the search bar at the top of the ticket list
- Enter your search term
- Results update automatically as you type
- Clear the search to show all tickets again
Filtering by Status
Filter tickets by their current status:
- All Status - Show all tickets regardless of status
- New - Only show unviewed tickets
- Open - Show actively being worked on tickets
- In Progress - Show tickets currently being addressed
- Resolved - Show completed tickets
- Closed - Show archived/finished tickets
- All Priority - Show tickets of any priority
- High - Show urgent tickets
- Medium - Show standard priority tickets
- Low - Show lower priority tickets
- Inbox - Shows active, non-archived tickets
- Archive - Shows archived tickets only
- Search + Status + Priority = Very specific results
- All filters update the list in real-time
- Clear filters individually or reset all at once
- Total ticket count
- Open tickets count (New, Open, In Progress)
- Use email addresses for precise customer searches
- Filter by "New" status to prioritize unread tickets
- Filter by "High" priority for urgent issues
- Switch to Archive view to find old tickets
