Learn how to edit, organize, and maintain your surveys.

Understanding the Survey List

The survey list displays all your surveys with the following columns:

  • Survey: Name and description of the survey
  • Status: Live or Draft indicator
  • Nodes: Number of questions in the survey
  • Responses: Total response count
  • Updated: Last modified date
  • Actions: Quick action buttons

Editing Surveys

  • Click the edit icon on a survey row
  • Or click the menu icon (three dots) and select "Build nodes"
  • This opens the Survey Builder where you can modify questions and logic

Changing Survey Status

  • Click the status badge (Live/Draft) on any survey
  • Confirm the change in the modal
  • Live: Survey becomes publicly accessible
  • Draft: Survey is hidden but existing responses are preserved
  • Click the copy icon on a survey row
  • The public survey link is copied to your clipboard
  • Share this link with users or embed it in your application

Viewing the Public Page

  • Opens the survey in a new tab as users would see it
  • Use this to preview and test your survey

Deleting Surveys

Warning: Deleting a survey cannot be undone and permanently removes all responses.

  • Select "Delete"
  • Confirm the deletion

Bulk Actions

Perform actions on multiple surveys at once:

  1. Select surveys using the checkboxes in the first column
  2. A bulk actions bar appears when items are selected
  3. Choose from available actions:
    • Change status: Set multiple surveys to Live or Draft
    • Delete: Delete all selected surveys
  4. Confirm the action

Pagination

When you have many surveys, use the pagination controls:

  • View 10 surveys per page
  • Use arrow buttons to navigate between pages
  • Click page numbers to jump to a specific page

When No Surveys Exist

If you haven't created any surveys yet, you'll see an empty state with:

  • A message indicating no surveys exist
  • A "Create survey" button to get started

Management Best Practices

  • Keep surveys in Draft status while building and testing
  • Only set to Live when ready to collect responses
  • Use descriptive names for easy identification
  • Archive or delete old surveys to keep your list organized
  • Regularly check response counts to identify underperforming surveys
