Email Notifications

Email notifications are available to all users and require no additional setup.

Enabling Email

  1. Go to SettingsNotifications

  2. Ensure Email is enabled

  3. Select which notification types you want via email

Email Best Practices

  • Check your spam folder if notifications aren't arriving

  • Add [email protected] to your contacts

  • Use digest emails to reduce inbox clutter

Browser Push Notifications

Get notifications directly in your web browser, even when AppGram is not open.

Enabling Browser Push

  1. Go to SettingsNotifications

  2. Enable Browser Push

  3. Allow notifications when your browser prompts you

Browser Compatibility

Browser push is supported in modern browsers including:

  • Google Chrome

  • Mozilla Firefox

  • Safari (on macOS)

  • Microsoft Edge

Troubleshooting Browser Push

  • Ensure your browser supports push notifications

  • Check that site notifications are allowed in your browser settings

  • Disable ad blockers that may block notifications

Channel Preference

You can use multiple channels simultaneously. For example, receive urgent notifications via push and use email digests for less critical updates.
