Managing Surveys
Learn how to edit, organize, and maintain your surveys.
Understanding the Survey List
The survey list displays all your surveys with the following columns:
- Survey: Name and description of the survey
- Status: Live or Draft indicator
- Nodes: Number of questions in the survey
- Responses: Total response count
- Updated: Last modified date
- Actions: Quick action buttons
Viewing Survey Responses
Click anywhere on a survey row to view its responses and analytics page.
Editing Surveys
- Click the edit icon on a survey row
- Or click the menu icon (three dots) and select "Build nodes"
- This opens the Survey Builder where you can modify questions and logic
Changing Survey Status
- Click the status badge (Live/Draft) on any survey
- Confirm the change in the modal
- Live: Survey becomes publicly accessible
- Draft: Survey is hidden but existing responses are preserved
Copying Survey Links
- Click the copy icon on a survey row
- The public survey link is copied to your clipboard
- Share this link with users or embed it in your application
Viewing the Public Page
- Click the external link icon on a survey row
- Opens the survey in a new tab as users would see it
- Use this to preview and test your survey
Deleting Surveys
Warning: Deleting a survey cannot be undone and permanently removes all responses.
- Click the menu icon (three dots) on a survey row
- Select "Delete"
- Confirm the deletion
Bulk Actions
Perform actions on multiple surveys at once:
- Select surveys using the checkboxes in the first column
- A bulk actions bar appears when items are selected
- Choose from available actions:
- Change status: Set multiple surveys to Live or Draft
- Delete: Delete all selected surveys
- Confirm the action
Pagination
When you have many surveys, use the pagination controls:
- View 10 surveys per page
- Use arrow buttons to navigate between pages
- Click page numbers to jump to a specific page
When No Surveys Exist
If you haven't created any surveys yet, you'll see an empty state with:
- A message indicating no surveys exist
- A "Create survey" button to get started
Management Best Practices
- Keep surveys in Draft status while building and testing
- Only set to Live when ready to collect responses
- Use descriptive names for easy identification
- Archive or delete old surveys to keep your list organized
- Regularly check response counts to identify underperforming surveys
