Getting Started with Public Portal

Overview

Your Public Portal is a customizable, branded website that showcases your product's feedback, roadmap, changelog, status updates, support, and help center. It provides a single destination for users to engage with your product and stay informed about its progress.

What's Included

Your public portal includes these built-in pages:

  • Feedback - Users can submit feature requests, vote on ideas, and engage with your product roadmap
  • Roadmap - Share your product roadmap and show planned features and their status
  • Status - Communicate system status, incidents, and maintenance updates
  • Releases - Share changelog, release notes, and what's new
  • Support - Users can submit support requests and track their tickets
  • Help Center - Provide searchable documentation and FAQs
  • Custom Pages - Create additional pages for About, Pricing, or any other content

Accessing Your Portal

Your public portal is accessible at:

https://your-domain.com/p/{organization-slug}/{project-slug}

Where:

  • {organization-slug} - Your organization's unique URL identifier
  • {project-slug} - Your project's unique URL identifier

Customizing Your Portal

To customize your public portal:

  1. Go to your project dashboard
  2. Click Customization in the sidebar
  3. Select the page you want to customize from the page selector
  4. Use the customization panel to adjust colors, branding, layout, and content
  5. Preview your changes in real-time
  6. Click Save when you're satisfied

Key Customization Options

Colors & Branding

  • Primary, Secondary, Accent Colors - Match your brand
  • Background & Text Colors - Set the visual tone
  • Logo & Company Name - Display your brand identity
  • Card Styles - Customize card backgrounds, text colors, shadows, and borders

Layout Options

  • Style Variants - Choose from Modern, Classic, or Default layouts
  • Border Radius - Adjust corner roundness from sharp to soft
  • Header Settings - Show/hide header, make it sticky, add transparency
  • Canvas Editor - Drag and drop blocks to create custom page layouts

Page Management

  • Enable/Disable Pages - Turn pages on or off
  • Public/Private Access - Control who can view each page
  • Show in Navigation - Choose which links appear in the header menu
  • Navigation Order - Drag and drop to reorder menu items
  • Custom Routes - Set custom URL paths for each page

Preview Mode

Before publishing changes, use Preview mode to see exactly how your portal will appear:

  • Changes are previewed in real-time
  • Preview updates automatically as you customize
  • Preview token ensures you see your unsaved changes
  • Preview persists across page navigation
