Help Center Overview

The Help Center allows you to create and manage structured documentation for your product. Organize content into collections, flows, and articles to provide users with helpful guides, FAQs, and tutorials.

Key Components

  • Collections - Versioned sets of documentation (e.g., "Help Center v1.0")
  • Flows - Topic categories within collections (e.g., "Account Help", "Billing FAQ")
  • Articles - Individual help documents with HTML content
  • Display Types - How content is shown to users (List, Accordion, Decision Tree, Wizard)

Article Types

  • Guide - Step-by-step instructions for completing tasks
  • FAQ - Frequently asked questions and answers
  • Tutorial - Detailed tutorials with examples

Navigation

The Help Center interface features:

  • Sidebar Panel (30%) - Shows collections and flows with expand/collapse
  • Content Panel (70%) - Displays articles and content management
  • Breadcrumbs - Shows current collection and flow selection

Permissions

Managing the Help Center requires the help_center:manage or help_center:* permission scope.

Getting Started

  1. Create a Collection to group your documentation
  2. Flows to organize content by topic
  3. Add Articles with helpful content
  4. Set a Collection as live to publish to users
