Viewing Form Submissions
Viewing Form Submissions
Review and manage all form submissions from the Submissions tab.
Accessing Submissions
- Navigate to the Forms page from your project dashboard
- Click on the "Submissions" tab to view all form responses
- Use the filter dropdown to view submissions for a specific form or all forms
Understanding the Submissions Table
The submissions table displays the following information for each submission:
- Submission ID: Unique identifier for the submission (shown in first 8 characters)
- Email: Email address of the person who submitted the form
- Form: Name of the form that was submitted to
- Status: Badge showing submission status
- Message: Preview of the message content (first 50 characters)
- Submitted: Date and time when the submission was received (relative time format)
- Actions: View details, view submission tracking, or more options
Viewing Submission Details
Click the view details (eye icon) on any submission to see full information:
- Form Information: Form ID, form name, and submission date
- Submitted Data: All form fields and their values as submitted by the user
- Field Mappings: For feature request and support tickets, shows mapped integration fields (title, description, email, name)
- Metadata: IP address and user agent information
- Form Data: For contact forms, shows email address. For other types, shows unmapped field data.
Filtering Submissions
Use the filter dropdown to find specific submissions:
- All Forms: View submissions from all forms
- Specific Form: Select a form from the dropdown to view only its submissions
- Each form shows its submission count in the forms list
Pagination
Submissions are displayed 20 per page. Use pagination controls to navigate through large numbers of submissions.
- Showing range: Displays "1-10 of [total]" indicating current page
- Previous button: Navigate to previous page
- Next button: Navigate to next page
- Page numbers: Click specific page number to jump directly
Exporting Submissions
Currently, submissions can be viewed in the Submissions tab. Export functionality may be available through the API or by contacting support.
Best Practices
- Use forms for different purposes: Contact forms for inquiries, Feature Request for feedback collection, Support Tickets for customer support
- Set up field mappings correctly for integrations to ensure automatic data population
- Regularly monitor submissions to identify trends and spam patterns
- Use appropriate rate limits to balance user experience with spam prevention
- Review submission details to understand user behavior and improve your forms
- Export data regularly for backup or external analysis
