Managing Forms
Learn how to edit, organize, and maintain your forms.
Understanding the Forms List
The forms table displays all your forms with the following information:
- Form: Name and description of your form
- Status: Enabled (green badge) or Disabled (gray badge)
- Fields: Number of fields in the form
- Recipient: Email address or mapped field for integration types
- Actions: Quick action buttons for each form
Editing Forms
- Click the edit icon (pencil) on any form row to open the form builder
- Use the form builder to modify form settings, fields, and integration configurations
- Click Save to persist your changes
- Forms can be duplicated using the duplicate button in the actions menu
Changing Form Status
Forms can be toggled between Enabled and Disabled status:
- Enabled: The form is publicly accessible at its unique URL and can receive submissions
- Disabled: The form is hidden from the public but can still be previewed and edited
- Toggle status by clicking the status badge in the forms table or in the form builder
- Disabled forms will not count toward your submission statistics
Deleting Forms
Warning: Deleting a form cannot be undone and permanently removes all submissions associated with it.
- Click the delete (trash) button in the actions menu for the form you want to delete
- Confirm the deletion when prompted
- Consider exporting submission data before deletion if you need to preserve it
Duplicating Forms
Create copies of existing forms for reuse:
- Click the duplicate button in the actions menu
- The duplicated form will have "(Copy)" appended to the name
- All form fields and settings are copied to the new form
- Submissions are not copied - each form maintains its own submission history
Copying Form IDs
Each form has a unique ID that can be copied to your clipboard:
- Click the copy button (file icon) in the actions menu
- The form ID is copied to your clipboard
- Use form IDs for API integrations or referencing specific forms
Bulk Actions
Perform actions on multiple forms at once:
- Select multiple forms using the checkboxes in the first column
- Use the "Change status" dropdown to set multiple forms to Enabled or Disabled
- Use the "Delete" button to remove all selected forms
- Use "Clear" to deselect all forms
Best Practices
- Keep forms in Disabled status while building and testing
- Only set to Enabled when ready to receive submissions
- Use descriptive names to easily identify forms
- Regularly review and clean up old forms to keep your list organized
- Test forms thoroughly before making them public
- Use field mappings for Feature Request and Support Ticket integrations to automate data entry
- Set appropriate rate limits to prevent spam while allowing legitimate submissions
