Changing Your Password

Changing Your Password

Regularly updating your password helps keep your account secure. If you've forgotten your password, you can reset it using the forgot password flow.

Updating Your Password

  1. Go to Settings → Profile
  2. Scroll to the Password section
  3. Enter the following:
    • Current password - Your existing password
    • New password - Your new password
    • Confirm new password - Re-enter your new password
  4. Click Update password

Password Requirements

Your new password must meet these requirements:

  • Minimum of 6 characters
  • Different from your current password
  • Should be strong and not easily guessable

Forgot Your Password?

If you've forgotten your password, reset it from the login page:

  1. Click Forgot password? on the login form
  2. Enter your email address
  3. Check your email for a reset link
  4. Click the link and create a new password
  5. Sign in with your new password

Password Security Tips

  • Use a unique password for AppGram
  • Consider using a password manager to generate and store passwords
  • Never share your password with anyone
  • Avoid common words, patterns, or personal information
  • Update your password periodically

OAuth Users

If you sign in with Google or GitHub, you don't have a traditional password. To reset your authentication, you'll need to reauthorize with your provider.
